Wedding Photography in West Midlands

Rainy wedding day in heart of West Midlands at Ramada Solihull, with extra free coverage

On the Saturday, 31st March, I had a pleasure to photograph wedding of Sharon and Andy at Ramada Hotel in Solihull (West Midlands). The weather forecast for the day wasn’t optimistic. Met. office expected a lot of rain in the West Midlands area especially in the afternoon time – photography time. Bad weather condition could cause some problems with photos after the ceremony, and I had to create good plan just in case. Before the wedding ceremony everything went smooth. The wedding ceremony was emotional. From laugh to tears, from tears to laugh. My couple exchanged the rings, had “the first kiss” and finally they walked away on the red carpet. And what happened next? It was time for me to create unforgettable photos of them and their guests. And what?…. rain. I was able to take only couple of group photos but I couldn’t take images of my newlyweds. (more below photos)

I couldn’t let them down. I had to forgot about contracted hours, and go forward with the best possible idea at that time… Before the meal, I went to MR & MRS to announce –  “I stay with you longer, and it will be free of charge”. It was a little gift from me but very positive for MRS & MR.  I spent at work little bit more time. It was about an hour more. I haven’t ask for extra money. I felt it will be the best option for both of parties. After the meal, after the speeches, I took my couple for little photo shoot, where with a fun and laugh we were creating amazing photos for them. This extra time spent with Sharon and Andy, allowed me to to enrich their wedding story, to show that they booked not only a photographer but also a person who is looking for clients, and always care of them.
