The Shottle Hall Estate by MK Wedding Photography

At the beginning of the year, at the time when an unusual heat wave came to the UK, I photographed a wedding day of Emily & Michael at The Shottle Hall in Derbyshire. That’s what you can find in the description of the hall on its website:
“The Shottle Hall Estate is nestled amongst rolling hills and offers stunning countryside views. Shottle Hall stands on the edge of Peak District National Park and forms part of the famous Chatsworth House Estate. Shottle Hall, The Coach House Marquee, and our 14 acres of parkland are the perfect backdrop for your wedding day celebrations.” and in 100% I can confirm it. The location is just amazing. The staff of The Shottle Hall is helpful and friendly.

The Shottle Hall Estate by MK Wedding Photography based in West Midlands, so it took just above an hour to get to the heart of Derbyshire. I came to the venue before the bride. I had a chance to meet the staff and took some photos of the wedding venue. I also had enough time to walk around and find some interesting places for our wedding photos.
After a while, the bride came in together with her bridal party. And I have started my own party called – wedding photography. Below you will find some photos from the day.
It was a winter wedding but as I mentioned at the beginning of the blog post, nearly the whole UK was covered by a heatwave. Unusual, especially when the temperature in the middle of February was 17 Celsius degrees. A year before, on the same day of the month, I stuck in Warwick due to the attack of “Beast from the East”
